Phormium Tenax ‘Alison Blackman’


Supplied in a 2 litre pot at approximately 60cm tall. This architectural evergreen perennial shrub more commonly known as the New Zealand Flax is clump forming with graceful arching, sword shaped olive-green leaves with a yellow margin. With age it produces a yellow flower spike above the foliage which can reach 2m. It prefers full sun or partial shade in a sheltered site on well drained or grit added soil.


It has small white flowers which are followed by blueberries.
