Description

This giant Fritillaria grows to a height of 90 cm with huge down-turned orange or red bell-shaped flowers in April or May and tufts of shiny green leaf bracts above the flowers on a strong single green stem emerging from strap-like leaves. The show gets better every year in well-drained or grit-added soil.
