More commonly known as the ‘Butterfly Bush’ as Butterfly’s or any flying insect cannot resist it’s nectar. An evergreen shrub with dark green lancelet foliage. It flowers in late summer with possibly the darkest coloured flower of any shrub, often up to 15cm long. It prefers full sun in a mixed border of any soil type.
